Mayor Madhu Sood presented the Municipal Budget for the year 2011-12 that shows the deficit of whooping Rs 69.49 crore. While presenting the budget, Mayor said that the deficit is because of less charges for the electricity and water bill. For the next financial year, Mayor proposed expenditure of Rs 195.72 crore that includes Rs 1.20 crore for footing electricity and water bills. City’s roads condition is worse and weighing it Mayor announces the Rs 4.24 crore budgets for repairs.
