The Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement) Himachal Pradesh, Shimla has informed that Annual Accounts Statements of GPF for the year 2010-11 of H.P. Government employees have since been delivered/dispatched to the respective Drawing and Disbursing Officers in the State for distribution amongst the subscribers working under them.
He said that subscribers are requested to obtain their Annual Accounts Statements from the respective Drawing and Disbursing Officers and examine them thoroughly. They should confirm that the balances shown therein are correct, or point out to the office of the Accountant General (A&E), Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, the discrepancies, if any, noticed by them, he added. Full particulars of such missing credits/debits may be sent to the Accountant General (A&E) Himachal Pradesh, Shimla duly certified by their Drawing and Disbursing Officers by the end of September, 2011. The subscribers can also see their statements on website.
GPF Subscribers who have not filed their nominations or who want to change their previous nominations are also advised to do so promptly in their own interest through their DDOs keeping in view the Rule 5 and Rule 2 (C)(i)(ii) of G.P.F. (Central Services) Rules, 1960.
