The Himachal Pradesh High Court has granted interim anticipatory bail to Sanjay Sharma, spokesperson of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) in an alleged cheating and misappropriation case registered against the sports body and also granted relief to other three officials of the HPCA, treasurer Attar Singh Negi, vice-president Surender Thakur and joint secretary Prem Thakur, in the case directing the investigation officer to give them one-week notice before arresting them.

Passing this order, Justice Dharam Chand Chaudhary directed Sanjay Sharma to appear before the investigation officer at Dharamsala on December 7 and co-operate with him.

The court also issued notice to the state on the bail plea filed by Sanjay Sharma and listed the matter for further hearing on December 12.
