Shimla: All Indian Congress Committee vice president Rahul Gandhi’s scheduled March 8 Dharamsala rally has been postponed.

State Congress spokesperson Naresh Chauhan informed that the rally was because of Gandhi’s busy schedule.

State Congress was working to make Rahul Gandhi’s rally a mega event and has deputed its leaders, including cabinet ministers, to mobolise crowd for the rally.

Through Rahul Gandhi rally, the state Congress wanted to silence poll pundits, who were claiming the sway of BJP after Narender Modi February 16 Parivartan rally at Sujanpur in Hamirpur district, and aiming to mobilize huge gathering for the event.
