Continuing his verbal attack on BJP leaders, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said that the manner in which Narendra Modi was being projected by sidelining all senior leaders of the BJP, it appeared as if he had a panacea for all ills, while the fact was that Modi alone couldn’t find a solution to all problems.

Chief Minister said it while addressing election rally at Janglabhud, Banethi and Sarahan in district Sirmour. Taking a dig at state BJP leaders he said that he has never seen or allotted any “Namo Tea Stall” in the State to Modi but still BJP leaders were claiming that ‘CHAYE WALA” (a person who sells tea) would be prime-minister of the country.

He said that the local BJP MLA had nothing to do with the problems of the people of the area, adding that he just preferred the place for contesting the elections. He said that the BJP was puzzled over the growing popularity of the congress and foreseeing defeat of its all four candidates in Lok Sabha elections.

Virbhadra Singh said that Prem Kumar Dhumal was confined to Hamirpur constituency only as he can visualize the defeat of his son Anurag Thakur this time. He said that the politics of lies and vendetta, as being done by BJP was not going to last long.

Virbhadra Singh said that history has witnessed that whenever congress came to power in the state it worked for overall and equitable development of all areas. It was the congress governments during which district Sirmaur witnessed rapid development. Detailing out his government achievements and developmental work carried out in past eighteen months, Singh sought votes in favour of Congress candidate Mohan Lal Brakta.
