Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri has denied allegations of illegal drugs supply to the Punjab from Himachal Pradesh.

Responding to accusations of Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur, Agnihotri said that MP seemed to have no respect for the State from where he was elected. He said that it was shocking to hear from Thakur that he had spent his 30 years of life in Central Town in Jalandhar and he belongs to this part of Punjab.

Minister termed it as betrayal of faith of the people of the State. Agnihotri stated that during any elections in the State, he becomes Himachali and today he admitted that he is from Punjab and was blaming the State Government for flourishing the drug trade.

The Cabinet Minister advised Anurag Thakur to stop insulting the people of the State.
