Geology wing installs 20 monitoring towers in Reckong

Earlier we have reported that government has stopped the new construction in the Kinnaur headquarter Reckong Peo due to the incessant land sliding and continuously widening sinking zone. However, all efforts seems insufficient and government has planned to monitor the situation on the daily bases and implanted 20 towers that will asses the activity scientifically and will alert the exact situation of the sinking zone. These towers are installed by the geology wing of the Industries Department. Experts will monitor the condition of sinking zone fortnightly. Zoological team will also study the flow of water discharge from the nearby irrigation schemes.
