Himachal government is doing its best to strengthen Panchayati Raj Institutions so that pace of development can be accelerated in rural areas and the benefits of policies and programmes of the Government could reach the common man. Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government is giving special attention towards strengthening Panchayati Raj Institutions. He also added that State Government was laying special emphasis for creating infrastructural development in rural areas which also provide employment opportunities to people in the rural areas.
