Hamirpur will be an educational hub said technical education minister Narinder Bragta in Hamir Bhawan Hamirpur. He was discussing progress of technical education with the district officers here. Bragta said that state government has firm determination to boot technical education in the state. Hamirpur district will fix mile stones in this sector and keeping that 4th university of state as technical university is established at Hamirpur. He added that for the proper functioning of this university one crore is released by the government. For establishing buildings and hostels 15 crore 85 lacs is going to invested and the work will be get done till next year. In last three years a technical university and a central university established in government sector where as 10 universities are launched in private sector. Besides it Hydro-engineering College in Bilaspur and another engineering college at Pragti Nagar near Kotkhai of district Shimla are also in pipeline. IIT, National Fashion Technology Institution, Hotel Management Institute etc are not only established but out of 628 Senior Secondary school in our 618 are having IT education facilities. He added that the state government has given proper attention on the quality education at every level.
