Students from Lawrence College Pakistan meet Chief Minister

Led by its Principal Air Commodore (retd.) Tarooq H.Kayani, aA 20 members delegation from Lawrence College Ghora Ghali Muree Hills, Punjab, Pakistan alongwith some faculty members and students of Lawrence School Sanawar met the Chief Minister, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal at his Official residence today.

Chief Minister apprised them about the development that the State had made since its inception and also about the stages it passed through to the present situation and also on various other aspects. They evinced keen interest in Himachal Pradesh and were fascinated with scenic beauty of the State.

The students have come to India to grace the Prize Distributions Ceremony of the Hodson Run on 15th April, 2011 at Lawrence School Sanawar, Himachal Pradesh. Both the Schools in India and Pakistan were founded in pre independence era.
Chief Minister also honoured the students and staff members of both the Schools with Himachali caps, shawls and scarfs on the occasion.
Air Commodore (retd.) Tarooq H.Kayani presented a memento to the Chief Minister on the occasion.
