A younger brother strangulated his elder brother over the alleged illicit relations with the wife of the victim. The police have arrested Amit Kumar (22) of Kairi village in this connection.
The police said Amit and his elder brother Anil had gone to collect wood from the nearby forest, where he strangulated Anil with a nylon rope and returned home. The police said during interrogation, the marks of nylon rope were detected on the hands of Amit and later Amit confessed to the crime. The accused was arrested under Section 302, IPC, and the police are investigating further in the matter.
