Chief Minister declares that State Government will provide adequate land for relocation of Dogra Regimental Centre and other Brigades in the State as security of the country was supreme to all. Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal attends the two-day long Ex-Servicemen Rally of Dogra Regiment organized by Ex-Servicemen Welfare Corporation, at Hamirpur.

Chief Minister pitted against the Center inaction on the ‘One Rank One Pension’ as still it’s not decided even after decades. He demanded justice for the ex-servicemen who had given their youth to the country and their contribution needed to be compensated adequately. He demanded withdrawal of Recruitable Male Population formula of the Government of India and every willing youth be recruited to the armed forces. He said that the state had raised a demand for raising of a Himalayan regiment to recruit youth from hill states. He said that the State Government was awarding scholarships to the wards of ex-servicemen in the State.
