Earthquakes of minor intensity have become a common place in the queen of hills. It was another day and another jolt today. Tremors measuring 4.6 on the richter scale were felt in many parts of the State, including, Shimla, Sirmaur, Kangra and Chamba districts, following an earthquake in Chamoli region of Uttarakund reports say. The tremors felt were of slight intensity thus there is no information of loss of life or property, as we write.
