Seven Sisters peaks near Manali receives snowfall

Seven Sisters peaks in Kullu valley received moderate snowfall, whereas there are no reports of snowfall from Rohtang, Baralacha-la and other high peaks. Seven Sisters peaks are situated at a distance of about 30km north of Manali and at a height ranging from 15,000 to 16,250 feet, the Seven Sisters (seven consecutive peaks) received snow after a gap of about two months. Generally, these peaks experience heavy snowfall round the year, but did not get any this summer because of high temperatures.
