In the Cabinet Sub Committee meeting, Revenue Minister Gulab Singh Thakur said that a realistic policy would be finalized soon regarding Change of Land Use in the State in order to facilitate the people of the State, particularly in the industrial areas.

Thakur Gulab Singh said that Industries department has been directed to bring a realistic policy regarding utilization of the land use in the industrial areas of the State. He said that this would not only provide much needed relief to the industrialists but also ensure proper development of these areas. He said that this would also ensure greater economic activities in these areas, besides gainful employment to the local youth. He said that this would not only provide relief to the users but also add to the State exchequer.

Revenue Minister said that the main objective of the State Government was to give relief to the small and marginal farmers of the State. He said that the change in land use would also facilitate the poor residing in the State for decades.

Dr Rajeev Bindal, Health and Family Welfare Minister and member of the Cabinet Sub Committee also gave his valuable suggestions during the meeting. Deepak Sanan, Principal Secretary, Revenue, J.S.Rana, Director Industries, and other senior officers also attended the meeting.
