Governor Urmila Singh has emphasized the importance of educational institutions in producing the good citizens. She said it on the occasion of Annual Day function of Chinmay Vidyalaya Nauni, in Nauni University complex. She said that education helps in all round growth of the students. She appreciated the efforts of the school to provide 14 students of Leh-Ladakh region free education, on the goodwill initiative of Indian Army. The Governor said that considerable time should be devoted for inculcating moral virtues and character building. These ingredients will prove to be the most valuable assets to students in life. In educational institutions students from various regions, religions and communities share the same platform for learning which strengthens the spirit of national integration amongst them. Vice Chancellor Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry Dr. K.R. Dhiman said that students in Chinmay School were being taught through latest technology by using smart class-room method. Chairperson of the school Ishita Aggarwal read the annual report and gave details of activities of the school. The Governor also gave away prizes to students on this occasion.
