Spokesman of the State Government declare that there was no plan to create new districts under the consideration of the State Government. He said that the news item appearing in the section of the press in this regard were not based on facts and can be personal views of those being quoted in the news items.
News about the new district erupt after the declaration of cabinet minister in Himachal Government favor the creation of new district that would segregate from Kangra. Minister advocated it for the speedy development of the region. However, spokesman also added that the development of the Kangra district was always on the priority agenda of the State Government and would continue in future also.
