Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal inaugurated a hi-tech Police Station equipped with latest facilities at Bharwain near Chintpurni.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that keeping in view the heavy rush of devotees at Mata Chintpurni temple, a new Police Station would go a long way in protecting the lives and property of the people. He said that provision of hi-tech facilities at the newly built police station would ensure better services to the people. He further said that residential accommodation had also been provided to the Police Personnel in the Police Station complex.

Dr. D.S. Manhas, Director General, Police welcomed the Chief Minister and said that the newly built Police Station at Bharwain is one of the hi-tech Police Stations of the State where resources to check all sorts of crime were put in place.

Satpal Singh Satti, Virender Kanwar, Chief Parliamentary Secretaries, Balbir Chaudhary, MLA, Praveen Sharma, Vice Chairman, Water Management Board, Santosh Saini, Chairperson, HIMFED, Vijay Rana, Vice President, State BJP, Balbir Bagga, State BJP SC Morcha, Rani Ranaut, Chairperson Zila Parishad and other prominent persons and senior officers of the State Government were present on the occasion. Later, Chief Minister heard the grievances of the people and directed the authorities to redress them on priority.
