Earthquake was felt in northern India including Himachal Pradesh and measured 4.9 magnitude at Richter scale. The epicentre was near Bahadurgarh town near the Haryana-Delhi border region, just 35 km from New Delhi. This was the second earthquake in the northern region in less than a month. However, there was no report of any loss of life or damage to property in the hill state.
