Newly floated Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) is regularly denting into the BJP as two more close aides of BJP MP from Kangra, Rajan Sushant, joined the rebal party. At a rally organised in Jawali, the turf of Rajan Sushant in Kangra district, Zila Parishad member from the BJP Ravinder Singh and Block Development Committee (BDC) member Anita Malhotra joined the HLP.

Dharaya Sushant, son of Rajan Sushant, who had already joined the rebel faction had organised the rally in Jawali today, and targeted BJP for the sheltering corrupt people in the party.

Maheshwar Singh, president, HLP, speaking on the occasion, said,

“We had been informing the party high command about corruption being committed by certain ministers in the present government. However, even party president Nitin Gadkari did not take any action in the matter. We then had to form a separate political outfit to expose corruption in the present government. In case the HLP was voted to power, it would appoint a vigilance commission that would keep a watch on the working of ministers and bureaucrats”.

Another HLP leader Shyama Sharma supported president version and added that she had proof of corruption being committed in various development works being carried out by the IPH. There were about 1,000 people at the HLP rally at Jawali and where all main leaders of the party were present to woo the more support from the public.
