Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal during his one day visit to Bhoranj Assembly Segment of district Hamirpur, dedicated and laid foundation stones of record developmental projects valued at about Rs. 31.5 crore which included laying foundation stone of Stadium of Government Degree College at Bhoranj, Tarkwari, estimated to cost Rs. 6.00 crore; 33/11 KV Electricity Sub Station at Naltu (Bhareri) , estimated to cost Rs. 4.70 crore and benefit 55,000 population of 92 villages in the area and 132.33 KV Electricity Sub Station and 132 KV Transmission Line at Jahu, estimated to cost Rs. 19.09 crore and dedicated Modern Marketing Yard at Jahu, completed at a cost of Rs. 1.50 crore. He also dedicated newly constructed PHC Building at Karhota, completed at a cost or Rs. 50 lakhs to over 12,000 residents of the area. Proposed 132/33 KV Electricity Sub-Station will be benefiting 2.5 lakh population in 100 gram panchayats in Bhoranj, Tauni Devi, Gopalpur, Dharampur and Ghumarwin blocks.
