Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal ruled out any posibilities to form new districts in Himachal Pradesh as opinion was divided over this issue. He said since a section of the politicians were not in favour of this move, the government would not go ahead with this proposal now.

Chief Minister stated it while addressing mediapersons in Solan after paying obeisance at the Shoolini Mata temple during the concluding day of the three-day Shoolini fair. Chief Minister also praised Dr Rajeev Bindal’s organizational acumen and said that his capabilities to hold all workers together will be required for the ‘Mission Repeat’ in all 68 constituencies ahead of the Assembly polls.
