Three tourists from Madhya Pradesh died in a road accident near Rahala Falls around 25 kms from Manali towards Rohtang Pass. The ill fated taxi was carrying nine people including seven tourists from Khandwa of Madhya Pradesh and was on its way to Rohtang Pass. Three tourists died on the spot while six injured persons have been admitted in local hospital Manali.

Urmila Singh, Governor, Himachal Pradesh and Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal expressed grief over the accident. The Chief Minister have directed the administration to make arrangements to sent the dead bodies to their native place besides providing best treatment to the injured persons.
