Over congress senior leader Virbhadra Singh demand to implement model code of conduct in the sate as he fearing that ruling BJP can come out with populist policies and measures that can influence the voters ahead of the assembly polls, BJP State Chief Satpal Satti has termed it as an impatience and disappointment of senior congress leader.

In a press communiqué, Satti alleged that Singh is considering independent election commission as Congress properties and instead of accepting its decision, Virbhadra Singh is trying to influence them. He added that BJP will accept Commission’s decision and won’t lament like Singh did in 2007. He said that party has done enough in its current tenure and it will be its base to return to the power.

Satpal Satti also criticised Virbhadra Singh’s statement in which he had declared war against those who refused to follow his dictate and added that it shows his real character. He added that Congress is trying to blackmail BJP over Rajiv Bindal, Satti made clear that Bindal is clean man and ready to face any inquiry if imposed in near future. Satti advised Virbhadra Singh to stop unnecessary comment on BJP leaders. Satpal Satti declared that BJP is fully ready for the assembly election and its frontal organizations have started their campaign work in all districts. He added that BJP youth wing is working hard to disseminate the achievements of government.
