Senior Congress leader and State Congress general secretary Ram Lal Thakur accused BJP government for ignoring projects and schemes of Bilaspur district which were started by the previous Virbhadra Singh led Government. Thakur accused BJP Govt for partial outlook against the district. Giving detail about the projects sanctioned in the Congress government, Thakur said that former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had laid the foundation stones of Rs 32-crore Baghchhal Bridge and Rs 52-crore Berry Dadollan bridge at Talwaad and had also done the “bhumi poojan” for the allotment of plots to remaining Bhakra Dam oustees. The government had stopped the construction of the Baghchhal Bridge and not added a brick to the all-purpose Berry Dadollan Bridge, this shows partial outlook. Ram Lal Thakur, who lost previous election to BJP candidate by an elfin margin, is looking to make big impact this time. As assembly election is near, therefore he is trying to get attention of voters towards his candidature by raising every possible issue that is in the favour of the common people.
