Shanta Kumar agrees to campaign for BJP

Finally BJP leader Shanta Kumar agreed to campaign for the party in the forthcoming election. He agreed after closed-door meeting in Chandigarh and this could be a positive indication from top leadership to end the bitter factionalism that has plagued the party.

To show the unity after the successful of meeting, BJP is holding a rally at Kangra on July 8; where the Shanta Kumar and Prem Kumar Dhumal will share the dais in the presence of party Chief Nitin Gadkari. It will be after a span of almost two and a half years that Shanta will be part of the campaign as he had decided to keep himself away from the party affairs in state. The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, Shanta Kumar, Kalraj Mishra, JP Nadda, Shyam Jaju, state BJP chief Satpal Satti, ministers and senior party workers.

It is learned that BJP can take some strict action against Kangra MP Rajan Sushant for his errant ways, whereas Rohru MLA Khushi Ram Balnatah could get away.
