To make party working effective and efficient for the forthcoming assembly poll, HPCC President Thakur Kaul Singh has reallocated the Party Organization work among the Office Bearers of HPCC. Senior Party leader Chander Kumar and Namita Roshan Lal are appointed to oversee the work in Una district and Intellectual Department.
MLA and senior party leader Sujan Singh Pathania and Secretary Ajay Verma are appointed to administrate party work in District Bilaspur and Teacher Department. For important Shimla District (Rural & Urban) & Kissan Khet Majdoor Congress, Congress senior leader and party Treasurer Brij Bihari Lal Butail, General Secretary and youth leader Vinod Sultanpuri, Kuldeep Pathania and Krishan Pal Sharma will share the responsibilities.
Party General Secretary and former Minister in Virbhadra Singh Govt, Ram Lal Thakur and Secretary Amit Nanda are given responsibilities of District Sirmaur and Congress Beopar Department. Responsibilities of Party Organization, Media Department, Youth Congress and NSUI are handed over to General Secretary Kuldeep Singh Rathore and MLA Sohan Lal. MLA Rakesh Kalia and Rakesh Chaudhary are given responsibilities of Dehra, Jaswan Pragpur, Jawalamukhi, Fatehpur, Indora, Nurpur and Shahpur Constituencies of District Kangra, whereas, Sohan Lal and Krishan Pal Sharma will oversee party work in Baijnath, Jaisinghpur, Palampuer, Sullah, Nagrota Bagwan, Dharamshala and Kangra Constituencies.
Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Kirnesh Jung are given responsibilities of District Kullu and Minority Department, whereas Sudhir Sharma and Amit Pal will ensure the party work in District Hamirpur and ST Department. Far-flung District Chamba and OBC Department are given to Ajay Mahajan and Surinder Walia. Talented congress leader Harsh Mahajan and Kirnesh Jung will ensure smooth party functioning in tribal district Lahul & Spiti and Ex-Servicemen Department. Satya Parmar and Susheela Negi will check party performance in District Solan and Mahila Congress. Responsibilities of District Kinnaur and SC Department are handed over to Dr. Biru Ram Kishore and Kewal Singh Pathania. District Mandi, which has deciding ten assembly segments and Panchayati Raj Department are given to less known Ram Kumar and Pawan Nayyar.
Kaul Singh Thakur has also given additional duties for its secretaries as well, in which, Sajjad Mirza will see the functioning of Minority Department & Co-ordination with AICC, whereas Ajay Verma, will manage Ex. Servicemen Department and Krishan Pal Sharma is given responsibility of Panchayati Raj Department. Amit Pal Singh will manage Intellectual Department and Namita Roshan Lal is given responsibility of Mahila Congress.
Congress young leader from Chopal assembly segment of Shimla District, Rajneesh Kimta is awarded with important twin responsibilities of Sewa Dal and Media Department and Amit Nanda will be responsible for Youth Congress. Kewal Singh Pathania will manage NSUI and Susheela Negi is given responsibility of SC/ST Department.
