After added responsibilities of Health and Ayurveda, Minister Narinder Bragta today convened a meeting of Health and Family Welfare and Ayurveda Departments to review the working of these departments.

Narinder Bragta said that health sector was one of the top priority of the State Government and many achievements had been made in this sector during last four and a half years. He said that efforts had been made to provide quality health services to the people at their door steps. Besides various ambitious schemes like Atal Swasthya Sewa, Matri Sewa Yojna, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayay Aushdhi Sewa Yojna, Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Swasthya Karyakaram Yojna, Muskan Yojna were being implemented in the State.

Bragta said that super-speciality hospital had been set up in Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College, Tanda in district Kangra and modern equipments provided in IGMC, Shimla to provide specialized health services to the patients. He directed the officers of the departments to work with devotion and renewed zeal to serve the people of the State.

A.R. Rizvi, Principal Secretary, Heath, Aman Deep Garg, Mission Director, Health, Dr. Jaishri Sharma, Director, Medical Education, P.C. Draik, Director, Ayurveda and other senior officers of the departments were present in the meeting.
