Perturbed over the Khushi Ram Balnatah’s outburst against Prem Kumar Dhumal, BJP spokesperson Ganesh Dutt said that disciplinary action would be taken against him. Dutt said that Balnatah was speaking a language of the Himachal Lokhit Party. He added that if Balnatah mulling to leave the party, he can do so, but he should not level baseless allegations against the BJP regime and the Chief Minister.

Ganesh Dutt defended the decision of his party led Govt of granting permission to the JP Group for expansion of its cement plant and claimed that permission were given after following the norms. He also defended the opening of private universities and said a regulatory commission had been opened to check any irregularities and they were abiding by UGC norms. Over Balnatah’s allegation of ignoring the Rohru segment, Dutt claimed that the development works worth over Rs 500 crore had been undertaken in Rohru and if the area still lacked facilities, it was the result of the inadequacy of his and not of the BJP regime.
