BJP releases first list of 45 candidates for assembly poll

Ahead of the announcement of Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, the BJP finalised its first list of 45 candidates. Party has decided to shift Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal to Hamirpur.

The party re-nominated at least eight ministers for the elections including former Health Minister Rajiv Bindal, who has been shifted from Solan to Nahan. Solan was reserved for SC candidate. Theog MLA Rakesh Verma, who was mulling to shift his base to Chopal, announced party candidate from Theog.
