Core Education and Technologies has won an information and communications technology project from Himachal Pradesh Government, worth Rs 157.45 crore.

The technology-enabled education solutions provider will provide computer-aided learning solutions to 1,471 schools across 12 districts in the State.

Under this contract, the company will offer solutions that will help in digitalising classrooms and equipping them with interactive whiteboards and multimedia content. It also would provide multimedia content to 618 Government Senior Secondary Schools and 848 Government High Schools in the State, apart from training 7,500 teachers.

The company is implementing similar solutions in the US, the UK and certain West Asian countries, he added.

Following the win, Core Education would be providing its solutions to a total of about 12,000 schools in India. The win also has resulted in the firm’s global order book, including India, rising to Rs 1,350 crore.
