Congress state president Virbhadra Singh has said that exposing corruption, misgovernance and anti-people policies of the BJP-ruled government would be his main agenda during the upcoming State Assembly polls.

He blamed BJP led government for selling off land, air and water of Himachal Pradesh and stated that Congress will probe all corruption and misuse of natural resources once returned to power.

However on the other side Prem Kumar Dhumal blamed UPA Govt for corruption and ”anti-Himachal” decisions and said that these will be the upcoming Assembly polls main agenda.

Election Commission has announced the single-phase election in Himachal Pradesh on November 4. Whereas, counting for both the states will take place on December 20. The notification will be issued on the 10th of this month. The last date for nomination is 17th and scrutiny will take place the next day. Candidates can withdraw their nominations till 20th of this month.
