Nitin Gadkari campaign in Himachal focus is on corruption, facing corruption allegations against self

BJP national Chief Nitin Gadkari campaign in Himachal Pradesh and addressed election rallies at Reckong Peo, Kinnaur and Nerwa in Chopal assembly segment of Shimla district.

In his address Nitin Gadkari blamed congress for poverty, unemployment, corruption and lack of infrastructure in country. He stated that Congress promised to remove poverty in every election, but results came otherwise. Gadkari also take a gibe at corruption in UPA Govt and stated that instead of helping people, the ruling party had benefited big leaders and corporate houses while doing nothing to improve the condition of the poor, checking unemployment and curbing price rise.

BJP national chief also compare the NDA and the UPA rule, Gadkari stated that during NDA regime prices were stable, Rupee was strong and steps were taken to strengthen the basic infrastructure. However, the UPA government has failed on all fronts and did nothing for overall development of the country, he alleged.

Though Gadkari made a scathing attack on congress and UPA Govt over the issues of corruption, bad governance, but he himself is facing allegations of dubious funding of his companies.

HLP convener Maheshwar Singh has stated that Nitin Gadkari has shown his real face and recent revelation of dubious funding of his company narrates the true picture of his. On the other hand Congress also got real issue to retaliate at BJP and trying to gain in Himachal election. Congress said that Nitin Gadkari’s episode exposed the real and corrupt face of BJP among the public.
