State BJP president Satpal Singh Satti has once again been given the elected the president of the party affair in Himachal Pradesh by national party Chief Rajnath Singh. He is been elected for another two years, till 2014.

Satti had been made the party chief last year on February 29. With Rajnath giving him another two-year term till 2014, he will lead the party in the Lok Sabha polls due next year.

Satpal Singh Satti said that he will work to strengthen the party and mobilise cadres for the Lok Sabha election in 2014. He announced to visit entire state from the Mandi Parliamentary Constituency, where elections would be held within the next four months. He said that this time he will visit every mandal and will every single party workers and office bearer.

Satti said he would announce the new state BJP executive before March 15. The process of organisational elections in the state is still under way. District BJP chiefs of Solan, Sirmour, Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Kullu have already been elected.
