Govt invites applications for Sehejdhari (Pakistan) pilgrims

A spokesman of the State Government said that Government of India had intimated that a Jatha of 3000 Sikhs/Sehejdhari pilgrims were going to Pakistan on the occasion of ‘Baisakhi’ and they would be visiting various historic Gurudawaras situated there. The 10 day visit was starting from 10th April 2013 to 19th April, 2013. The quota allotted to Himachal Pradesh is for 15 pilgrims. The last date for receiving the applications for the same is 26th March, 2013.

The interested persons can apply on plain paper indicating complete name, address, contact numbers including mobile numbers and attaching attested copies of the Passport and bonafide certificates, which should be delivered to Sunil Sharma, Deputy Secretary (Home) in Room No. 406, Armsdale Building, H.P. Secretariat, Shimla.
