Chief Electoral Officer Narinder Chauhan said here today that Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls of all Vidhan Sabha Constituencies except 2-Bharmour (ST), 21-Lahaul-Spiti (ST) and 68-Kinnaur (ST) had been completed with 1st January, 2013 as qualifying date and final photo electoral rolls would be published on 5th April, 2013.

He said that there were 43,99,538 registered voters in 65 Vidhan Sabha constituencies at the time of publication of draft of photo electoral rolls and 1,08,317 new voters were registered, 28,730 were deleted due to death/ migration/double registration etc. reasons during revision adding that there had been increase of 79,587 voters in the electoral rolls. He said that now there were 44,79,125 registered voters in the photo electoral rolls out of which 22,89,016 were male and 21,90,109 female voters and photo identity cards of all voters had been prepared.

He said that 14-Sulah assembly constituency had highest 87,929 electors and 52-Doon assembly constituency had lowest 53,691 electors.

He said that revised photo electoral rolls were available on all the polling booths with booth level officers, offices of district electoral officers/electoral registration officers/ assistant electoral registration officers for inspection.
