Forest Minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri and Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma lashed out at leader of opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal and advised him to wait for the investigation to complete in a chargesheet filed against his tenure

In their joint press communiqué, Congress leaders stated that the anxiety of the BJP leaders indicated that they were worried that their misdeeds would be exposed. They added that the Govt knew about the course of action to be taken to unearth the acts of commission and omission of the previous government and it didn’t need any advice from the BJP leaders.

Congress leaders said that the Govt had repeatedly stated that the state investigating agencies were capable to probe the criminal offences and Dhumal should not be impatient when the investigations were in progress as per the laid down procedures and law.

They alleged that BJP leaders are just creating a hue and cry to catch the attention of public for gaining cheap publicity. They said that Govt is adamant to take it to the logical end and such hue and cry would not get them anything. They alleged that in its tenure, BJP got as many as 33 cases probed by the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau against their political opponents and now when their misdeed and maladministration are about to expose, they are just trying to misled people of state. Congress leaders blame BJP for creating unnecessary drama to gain political mileage.

Earlier former Chief Minister has demanded to probe Congress charges against BJP tenure from HC Judge, which was rejected by the Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. Even CM had termed it totally invalid and said that criminal charges were investigated by investigating agencies and not through judicial probe. In reply to CM remarks, Dhumal issued statement, in which he had said that probe from sitting HC judge is completely valid.
