GS Bali, Cabinet Minister for Transport, Technical Education and Food, Civil Supplies and Public distribution announced two new drinking water supply schemes, one for Nagrota Bagwan town, and another for the 17,000 residents of 20 panchayats in the changer belt of the constituency. He said that the work on these projects will start soon and will cost Rs 11 crore. Minister said it while addressing electorates of his assembly segment at Nagrota Bagwan, Sarotri, Sherathana and Pathiar.

He said as Nagrota Bagwan town was developing rapidly with different higher educational and technical institutions coming up and to meet the need of these new units, Bali ensure to provide all necessary help from the state Govt.

Minister said that better road connectivity is integral part of fast pace development and to ensure smooth transportation in the segment; he revealed that Rs 4 crore would be spent on three roads Bhaldar-Jasour, Niharglow- Bhatti-Barana and Souni Pandhol roads of Nagrota Bagwan Assembly segment.

He said that Govt was also adamant for overall development of the region and for better power supply to Nagrota Bagwan town, Rs 1.5 crore would be spent. He added that the Nagrota Bagwan bus stand would also get make over and Rs 15 lakh was sanctioned for its maintenance.
