APG Shimla University offering Scholarship Benefits to meritorious students

APG Shimla University is providing scholarship benefits to support meritorious and financially weak students at its Shimla campus. APG, which is one of sixteen private universities in Himachal Pradesh, is hoping to attract more students with its latest fee program. University is offering fee concessions on charity and academic basis.

On Charity basis, APG Shimla University is offering flat 10 percent concession to all bonafide Himachal Pradesh students and 25 percent concession to each of the brother/sister studying in the university. SC/ST/OBC students get scholarship from their state Govt and if Govt fails to pay it, APG University will provide 20 percent concession in their fee. University has also covered Single girl child under its scholarship scheme and offering 30 percent concession on Single girl child.

University is offering 50 percent concession to those children who have lost their father and giving 100 percent concession to those who have lost their both parents. This concession will continue if a student maintains his CGPA – 6.00 minimum

APG Shimla University is also honoring students with distinction in sports and giving 35 percent concession to all national winner, 30 percent to national runner up, 25 percent to national participants and to all state winners, 15 percent to all state runner up and 10 percent to all sate participants. This concession will continue if a student maintains his CGPA – 6.00 minimum. Finances wouldn’t be a hindrance to differently abled students as APG University is giving 25 percent concession to them.

Apart from charity basis, APG Shimla University is offering Scholarship on Academic basis as well.

In M-Tech, University offering 25 percent concession for GATE qualified students. University giving 25 percent concession to those students who had secured 70 percent and above in B-Tech and 15 percent concession on 60 percent and above in B-Tech.

In B-Tech and B.Arch, APG giving 50 percent concession on JEE rank between (1-100000), 30 percent concession on JEE rank between (100000-200000), 50 percent concession on 80 percent and above in +2, 25 percent concession on 70 percent and above in +2 and 15 percent concession on 60 percent and above in +2.

In MBA, university offering 25 percentile concession on 80 percentile on CAT/MAT/XAT/HP CMAT exams, 25 percent concession on 70 percentile in bachelor degree and 15 percentile concession on 60 percentile in bachelor degree.

In BBA/ BHM/ BHM (TT)/ BSc (FD)/BJMC/ BALLB/BBALLB courses, APG Shimla University providing 25 percent concession for those students who had secured 70 percentile in +2 and 15 percent concession on 60 and above percentile in +2

For MJMC and LLB, university giving 25 percent concession on 70 percentile in bachelor degree and 15 percent concession on 60 percentile in bachelor degree. However in LLM, APG giving 25 percent concession on 70 percentile in LLB and 15 percent concession on 60 percentile in LLB.
