Bharat Nirman a gimmick: Anurag Thakur

Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha national president and Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur accused Indian National Congress led UPA Govt in centre for not being serious about the nation. He said UPA has failed on every front and its campaign like ‘Bharat Nirman’ is a “gimmick” to cover up its inefficiencies.

Anurag Thakur said

“The Bharat Nirman campaign is a shameful gimmick to cover up its years of corruption, economic and disaster relief mismanagement and laxity of national security matters. I feel that Congress is not serious about the nation,”

He lauded the role of army in carrying out relief and rescue work in rain hit region. He said that army personnel are real hero. He criticized AICC President Sonia Gandhi for reportedly delaying the departure of flood relief material to Uttarakhand till Rahul returned from abroad. Thakur accused that Congress yuvraj “vanishes” every time the nation is faced with a crisis. Thakur also reiterated BJP’s demand that a national calamity be declared in Uttarakhand.
