IGMC’s B.Sc. Medical Technology students call on CM, asks to provide stipend

Students of B.Sc. Medical Technology, Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla called on Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and urged him to direct the authorities to implement announcement of providing stipend of Rs. 3000 to B.Sc. Medical Students and providing free training to IRDP and BPL students.

The delegation also urged the Chief Minister to give appointments to B.Sc. trained students within the State.

Registrar, Para Medical Council Vinod Chauhan was with the delegation and also thanked the Chief Minister for sanctioning 18 posts of lecturers and tutors for B.Sc. Medical. They requested the Chief Minister to restore 30 posts of technologists which were sanctioned in 2007 by his previous Government. Chief Minister assured the delegation to consider their demands sympathetically.
