During his Nagrota Bagwan tour, Food and Civil Supplies, Technical Education and Transport Minister GS Bali announced to upgrade Nagrota Bagwan bus stand with modern facilities.

Bali said that the Nagrota Bagwan bus stand will have shopping complexes and that would be allotted to people from the weaker sections on a priority basis.

GS Bali said the Volvo bus service between Baijnath and Delhi had been recently started keeping in mind people of Baijnath, Palampur and Nagrota Bagwan. He added that three seats were reserved in the bus for the Nagrota Bagwan bus stand.

He said passengers travelling in the Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses with return ticket with get 10 per cent concession in the fare. He said this facility would be provided to the passengers in all buses and in the Volvo bus from Dharamshala to Delhi, passengers would get a benefit of Rs 114.

He said that during coming festivals, consumers would be provided an additional 2 kg of sugar on a no-profit and no-loss basis. The minister added that Rs 32 lakh would be spent on the construction of Khuls in Pathiar and Lakhamandal areas of Nagrota Bagwan.

GS Bali also addressed public meetings at, Sheerathana, Pathiar and Raijiana and heard the grievances of people. Many Congress district office bearer were also present on the occasion.
