Shimla: To facilitate the commuters on the occasion of Diwali, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has decided to run additional buses from Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla and Baddi to different parts of the State.

A spokesperson of HRTC informed that 38 additional buses would be pressed into service from inter-state bus terminal Delhi on 1st November and 40 buses on 2nd November to different parts of the State besides regular bus service. He said that 25 additional buses would ply from inter-state bus terminal Chandigarh on 31st October, 2013, 47 buses on 1st November and 45 buses on 2nd November, 2013 to different parts of the State besides regular bus service.

He added that four additional buses would be deployed on 30th October, 2013 from inter-state bus terminal Shimla to Chandigarh and other parts of the State, five additional buses on 31st November and 21 additional buses on 2nd October, 14 buses on 1st November, 2013.

He said that additional bus services would also be provided from Baddi area of Solan district to facilitate the passengers, adding that 25 buses would be pressed into service on 1st November and 26 buses on 2nd November and 8 buses on 3rd November to different parts of the State.
