Palampur: Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister and senior BJP leader Shanta Kumar praised Narender Modi’s working and said that the Gujarat Chief Minister is the “right person” to lead the country.

BJP veteran, in his statement, defended the party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on his “toilets first, temples later” remark. Shanta Kumar lambasted at Congress and accused its leaders for creating unnecessary hue and cry over it.

Shanta Kumar added that Narender Modi is going in the right direction to benefit the masses. He also compared Modi with Swami Vivekananda and stated that he is following in the footsteps of Swami Vivekananda.
