Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh released a story book titled ‘Himachal Pradesh Ki Lokdharmi Hindi Kahaniyan’ edited by renowned writer and editor of ‘Setu’ magazine, Dr. Devender Gupta here today.

Complimenting the efforts of Dr. Devender Gupta, Chief Minister said that such publication helps in strengthening the Hindi language and literature. He said that Hindi literature was known for its versatility and there were only few writers who were concentrating to publish their writings in the mother tongue.

Dr. Devender Gupta apprised the Chief Minister that stories of famous Himachali writers such as Yogeshwar Sharma, Sunder Lohiya, Dr. Sushil Kumar Phull, Keshav Narayan, Sudarshan Vashisht, Dr. Kailash Ahluwalia, Trilok Mehra, Hansraj Bharati, Murari Sharma, Shri Vijay Vishal, Vijay Kumar and others writers have been incorporated in the book.

Sudarshan Vashisht, Dr. Kunwar Dinesh, Dr. Karam Singh, Ramesh Jasrotia and other writers were present on the occasion.
