Dhumal says High Court decision on HPCA exposes the real face of state Govt

Leader of opposition and former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has hailed the Himachal Pradesh High Court’s decision ordering restoration of possession of the HPCA properties to the state cricket body. Senior BJP leader termed it a landmark decision and believed that Congress led government will now think before taking rash and undemocratic decisions, which are not in the interest of state and its gullible people.

Former Chief Minister stated that the Virbhadra Singh government had committed a crime by replacing the locks at the stadium with their own with the help of the police. He claimed the previous BJP government had taken the decision after thorough verification as per the law.

Dhumal added that after forming the government, Virbhadra Singh and his government has started witch hunting and harassing political opponent by using vigilance. He stated that the decision of the high court had exposed the real face of the state government.

Meanwhile, many other BJP leaders also welcomed the decision of High Court and even burnt crackers claiming it to be another Diwali for the party. The BJYM volunteers even distributed sweets at the Mall Road Shimla.
