Shimla: In the 70th meeting of State Level Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SLSWC&MA) state government accorded approval to two new proposals for setting up of industrial projects in the State. Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh headed the meeting, in which six proposals of expansion/modernization of the existing units with combined proposed investment of Rs. 242 crore, which would provide employment opportunity about 700 persons, given green signal.

Chief Minister said that the Authority approved the new proposal of M/S Manglaji Flour Mill who had proposed to invest Rs. 162.89 lakh with employment potential to 30 persons and M/S The Beas Flour Mill with investment of Rs. 40 lakh with employment opportunity to 17 persons.

Virbhadra Singh said that the Authority approved the expansion proposals of M/S Procter and Gamble Home Products Ltd. with investment of Rs. 20000 Lakh with employment opportunity to 100 persons for manufacturing shampoo and M/S Ranbaxy Laboratory Ltd. with investment of Rs. 1950 lakh which would provide employment to 15 persons for manufacturing Oral Solid Dosage Forms.

Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, officiating Chief Secretary P. Mitra, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister V.C. Pharka, Principal Secretary Revenue Tarun Shridhar, Principal Secretary Finance Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Principal Secretary Personnel S.K.B.S. Negi, Principal Secretary Industries R.D. Dhiman, Secretary GAD Subhashish Panda, Director Industries Rajender Singh and other officers were also present in the meeting.
