Disciplined bowling from Himachal skipper Rishi Dhawan helped Himachal cricket team to restrict Hyderabad for 237 in their first innings on the opening day of the Ranji Trophy Group C match today at Dharamshala cricket ground.

Seam bowler Rishi Dhawan led from the front with figures of 28-7-75-5, while his new ball partner VS Malik took two important wickets of in-form Ravi Teja and Syed Quadri (both batsmen had played sensibly in their last match against Maharashtra and helped to equal match point after Maharashtra gigantic 616). Waqar Ahmed, Akshay Chauhan and Bipul Sharma got one wicket each.

For Hyderabad, opener Tirumalasetti Suman was the top-scorer with a 92-ball 65, while Ravi Teja (39), GH Vihari (31) and BP Sandeep (34) contributed to their team.
