The fresh snowfall in the higher riches of tribal area of state and sporadic rain in lower region has dropped temperature in state, which is expecting to continue as the local MeT dept has predicted more rains and snow in higher hills during the next 48 hours.

Temperature at Keylong and Kalpa dropped to freezing minus 1.1 degrees Celsius and in Kinnaur it dropped to 0.4 degrees Celsius. In the other region of the state including picturesque Manali minimum temperature recorded 3.8 degrees, Dalhousie 5 degrees, Nahan 8.2 degrees, Shimla 8.2, Solan 8.4 degrees, Bhuntar 8.9 degrees, Sundernagar 9.1 degrees, Palampur 10 degrees, Una 13.2 degrees and Dharamsala 15.4 degrees Celsius.

Una was recorded hottest in the region with maximum temperature at 29.4 degrees Celsius while Sundernagar, Bhuntar and Dharamsala recorded a high of 25.7, followed by Nahan 24.7, Solan 23.5, Shimla 18.3 and Kalpa 15 degrees Celsius.
