Congress working hard to gain in Hamirpur

To ensure a good show at BJP stronghold Hamirpur, where Congress were performing badly from past couple of decades, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh is trying to woo electorates of the region and ensuring attention from the government by visiting parliamentary constituencies frequently and inaugurating and laying foundation stone of developmental activities worth crore.

In his today’s tour of the Hamirpur, where he has inaugurated developmental projects of Rs. 3.32 crore, Virbhadra Singh tried to woo electorates through his eloquence as well, where he was seen praising Shanta Kumar and criticizing Prem Kumar Dhumal for his policies and politics. Singh accused Dhumal for playing the politics of regionalism and casteism in the state and dividing people of the state for the vote bank politics.

He accused Prem Kumar Dhumal for framing false cases against him during his both tenure, which were quashed by the Court. He also accused Dhumal son, Anurag Thakur for playing politics over cricket. Virbhadra stated that HPCA was a big fraud in itself, for which state government has allocated land worth crores of rupees to Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association by registering it as Society, but it was later converted to a Company without any permission. Singh said that this matter was also being investigated.

HP Chief Minister stated that the Congress Party always gave priority for development and emotional integration of the State. In his address, Chief Minister didn’t forget to mention the recent results of Vidhan Sabha elections in the four States and claimed that would not impact in the State as conditions and local issues of these States were entirely different. He said that based on its performance and overall development of the State, the Congress Party would win all Lok Sabha seats in the State.

State Congress is toiling hard to wrench Hamirpur parliamentary from BJP and doing everything possible to surpass the opponent in this region. Once a strong supporter of Prem Kumar Dhumal, Rajender Rana, independent MLA from Sujanpur, associate member of ruling Congress, now a bete noire, Congress looking to gain from him. Chief Minister is ensuring enough attention to Rana and Sujanpur assembly segment and giving plum shares to it. Congress is also holding a huge rally at Hamirpur on 25th December, celebrating its year in power, and party cadre has been directed to make it spectacular and grand.
